Our comprehensive services begin with a personalized approach to newborn care, providing a 2-5 day visit in the comfort of your home to minimize exposure to crowded medical facilities. This initial visit ensures your newborn's well-being while allowing you to focus on recovery. Subsequently, we conduct a one-week follow-up, including weight checks and necessary screenings, all conveniently performed at your home. We meticulously track your child's growth and development through unhurried 30-60 minute visits, where we review growth charts, conduct thorough examinations, and address any concerns you may have. Our commitment extends beyond infancy, with regular well-visits tailored to your child's needs, coupled with discussions on vaccination options conducted in a collaborative and informative manner. Additionally, we offer screenings for various health concerns such as asthma, vision issues, hearing problems, autism, and ADD, ensuring comprehensive care throughout your child's journey.
Our services comprehensively address approximately 90% of your healthcare requirements. However, for the remaining 10%, such as major surgeries, emergency room visits, and hospitalizations, we advise obtaining catastrophic insurance to safeguard against these uncommon occurrences. This approach parallels car insurance: just as we cover routine maintenance like oil changes, tire replacements, and minor repairs out of pocket, we reserve insurance for unforeseen accidents requiring significant repairs.
All patients are encouraged to have at least catastrophic healthcare coverage in case of emergency or serious illness. We realize the value of health insurance but we also know how frustrating it can be. The copays. The networks. The surprise bills. We provide primary care that avoids all of that at a predictable flat monthly fee. We encourage you to keep at least catastrophic coverage in case of serious injury or illness requiring hospitalization. We are well versed in health shares and other various options and can assist you with what works best for you and your family.
We have negotiated great cash pay rates with local imaging centers and laboratories for our members. We can help you find the best price for the tests you need. For many tests paying cash can actually be cheaper than using your insurance. However, you can choose to provide your insurance information to pay for prescriptions and imaging services if they are covered at a better rate.
Vaccinations are not offered with our practice due to the cost prohibitive nature of stocking a limited supply. We will make an effort to help you obtain needed vaccinations elsewhere in the most cost effective manner possible if desired. Typically, if you have insurance we can send a vaccine prescription to your pharmacy for the pharmacist to give you. We also utilize the local health department for free and low cost vaccinations.
